I loved every second of Famke's/Jean Grey's/Phoenix's screen time. I tried not to squeal too loudly when she was onscreen. I enjoyed it. It was a fun ride and heart-wrenching.
Phoenix is my favorite comic book character.
Without spoiling the movie for anyone, it had lots of twists/turns/surprises. Think Scream 3.
If you're a fan and know the original comic stories, you will enjoy it. You'll ignore some of the little, niddling things. There are some gaping dead ends, but I was satisfied with the overall movie.
